After a long time I saw a dance so beautifully done. It has been performed by an adorable 6 year old kid, Swasti, from Begalpur,Bihar, while contesting for a talent show, Chak Dhoom Dhoom. Every line of the song has been beautifully and accurately depicted in the dance. The dance has been performd not only to the beats, but to the music as well as lyrics of the song. Every beat in the song is filled either by expressions, by normal steps, or else by very sublte body movements which make it all the more wonderful to watch. The detailed movement and timing for each step is tremendous, not to mention the expressions. The short pauses wherever taken are important to stress on the poses taken. The chakkars and body control is remarkable. At one point she takes 12 chakars, immediately folowed by 2 quick chakkars. There is variety in the entire choreography and no awkward repetitiveness is seen. The performance is rich in thought, technique and style. The look in judges' eyes speaks tons about their appreciation.
Overall its a very elegant performance that would simply put a smile on your face for its sheer beauty. A treat to the senses.... :) Brought to us by a toddler, it all about them after all... Taare Zameen Par....
Yup.....cute girl and a nice performance. Also reminded me of a girl whom i had seen on Britain's got Talent, 5yr old who was so talented, outgoing and smart, it was hard to believe that its a tiny 5 yr old who is out there singing. Couldn't find the link to put here.
